LA/Ontario International Airport

ONT is located in the Inland Empire, approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles in the center of Southern California. It is a medium-hub, full-service airport with commercial jet service to major U.S. cities and through service to many international destinations.

Parking

LA/Ontario International Airport provides several parking facilities for the convenience of the traveling public. All parking facilities are open 24-hours with disabled parking spaces located near accessible public walkways and shuttle stops.

Terminal Parking
Daily Parking Lots 2, 4, and 5 are all located in close proximity to the terminals and provide 5,522 parking spaces for extended stays and overnight trips. Daily Lot 2 is in front of Terminal 2 and Daily Lot 4 is in front of Terminal 4. Daily Lot 5 is the largest parking lot with 2,159 spaces near Terminal 4. Patrons who park in this lot can conveniently walk to Terminal 4 or ride the 24-hour courtesy shuttles to Terminals 2 and 4.

Electric Vehicle Parking
Electric vehicle charging stations equipped for van and disabled access are available in Lots 2 and 4. There is no fee for using the charging stations, but all vehicles that park in the lots are subject to pay the posted parking rates.

Oversized Vehicles
Oversized vehicles are not allowed to park in any of the airport parking lots. An oversize vehicle is defined as a vehicle which occupies more than one parking stall, including large trucks, trucks with attached trailers, tractors, campers, and recreational vehicles. Any vehicle that exceeds a single parking stall will be subject to citation and tow at the owner's expense.

Cell Phone Waiting Lot
Motorists waiting for arriving passengers can avoid making a series of loops past the terminals and around airport roadways by waiting in a 100-space Cell Phone Waiting Lot, free of charge, located at 1940 E. Moore Way.

*Lost tickets will be charged at the maximum daily rate for the particular lot in which the vehicle has been parked. All parking fees include the City of Ontario parking tax.

Ground Transportation

ONT Courtesy Shuttle

LA/Ontario International Airport provides courtesy shuttle service between the passenger terminals, Parking Lot 5 and the Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC). The service hours for the courtesy shuttles are indicated below.

Notes:
1) The frequency between courtesy shuttles varies from 5 to 20 minutes with shuttle departures less frequent from 12:00 a.m. (midnight) to 3:00 a.m. due to reduced airline flight activity.

2) All courtesy shuttles are wheelchair accessible.

Car Rentals

Airport shuttles transport both on-airport and off-airport rental car customers between the passenger terminals and the Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC), where the on-airport rental car counters are located. Off-airport rental car companies provide transportation to customers between the ConRAC and their business location. The ConRAC is located on the corner of Haven Avenue and Airport Drive.

Taxicab/Door-to-Door Van Services

Travelers can find taxicab service at the curbs outside of baggage claim. All taxicabs must be equipped with a dashboard meter or rate card which is plainly visible to all passengers in the front and back seats of the vehicle. Service is available on a walk up basis.

Travelers can find door-to-door van services at the island curbs outside of baggage claim. The California Public Utilities Commission requires that drivers maintain a price list identifying the specific rates for passenger transportation between the airport and surrounding cities. Service is available on a walk up basis and by advance reservations.

Curbside ambassadors are available to assist you with your ground transportation needs daily from 7:00 am to 12:00 am. Super Shuttle curbside ambassadors are available from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm at Terminal 2. Terminal 4 hours are from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 12:00 am. For assistance outside of scheduled hours, passengers may reach Super Shuttle's dispatch center at (916) 999-3261.

PARKING
Disabled parking is available in all parking lots.

CURB CUTS
Curb Cuts are provided from street to sidewalk level in front of the terminals.

ELEVATORS
Elevators are located on the first (baggage claim area) and second floors (screening area) of Terminals 2 and 4.

TDD
Telecommunications Device for the Disabled (TDD) capability is provided at selected locations on public pay phones. Standard TDD keyboard signs are displayed where pay phones with TDD capability are located.

RESTROOMS
Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located in all terminals and floors. Each terminal has an accessible unisex restroom in the arrivals level, past the elevator.

REQUESTING A WHEELCHAIRS
To Request wheelchair service, it is recommended you contact your airline 72 hours in advance. Wheelchair service is provide free of charge by your airline. Tipping is not required for wheelchair service.

Most individuals requesting wheelchair assistance are transported via wheelchair from ticketing to their aircraft. Airlines are required to provide curbside wheelchair service when requested. On your return flight, you should remind a flight attendant near the end of your flight, that you will need a wheelchair upon arrival.

If you failed to request wheelchair service prior to arriving at the airport, you may ask the airline representative at the ticket counter for wheelchair service. Keep in mind that requesting wheelchair service at the last minute, may result in a delay in providing you with a wheelchair. Priority is generally given to those who reserved wheelchair service ahead of time.

SERVICE ANIMAL RELIEF AREAS
Service Animal Relief Areas are conveniently located outside, at the East end of each terminal. Relief Areas are provided with fresh water, disposable bags and trash cans for convenient clean-up after your service animal relieves itself.

RESTAURANTS
Food and beverage concessions are wheelchair-accessible. These facilities provide easy access to food service and check-out counters, and ample space to dine while in wheelchairs.

Contact your airline first if you have a problem with lost suitcases or other items. Then check with restaurants , shops , and other services before checking with the ONT Airport Police Lost & Found.

Since TSA is responsible for passenger and checked baggage screening, all items left behind at security checkpoints are logged, collected and secured. Once passengers contact the TSA Lost & Found to claim and verify their item, arrangements are made for in person retrieval.
